Kelly Jane Smith-Fatten (b. Northridge, CA, 1983) earned her bachelor’s degree in Art Practice and the History of Art at the University of California, Berkeley. She will complete her MFA at Laguna College of Art and Design in May 2023. Kelly Jane's career in the arts has included administration, teaching, and project management at the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles. She paints in her private studio at home, living with her husband and two cats that often appear in her work.
